History of our "Club Car"

Come and join us for a unique dining experience at the Club Car Grille. Our restaurant offers one of its dining rooms as a retired Denver Rio Grande railroad car. Manufactured by Pullman in 1910, the coach served the Colorado railways until the 1960's when it became part of a Canadian excursion service. After its time in Canada, it again was used as part of another excursion service in the northern part of Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Before coming to its final place here in Alamo, MI our railroad car served the KLS&C (Kalamazoo Lakeshore & Chicago) Railway in Paw Paw, MI. While serving the KLS&C Railway in Paw Paw, eager passengers would climb aboard to take scenic tours of the area's vineyards and countryside. Although in serious disrepair and requiring major remodeling, you will notice it has kept its original ceiling light fixtures, brass window pulls and other beautiful original pieces to keep it's charm.
